We knew we were beating a storm into Monterey and that is what happened. We spent the next two days, when the rain broke, walking and riding our bikes around Monterey. We spent a great deal of Monday, at the Monterey Aquarium. It is always interesting and I could spend hours watching the jellyfish exhibit.
We had dinner the first night at the Sandab Grill which is on the working pier, next to the slip we were assigned. The restaurant is great and mostly populated by locals. We hit the sack early Monday as we had another 9.5 hour day on Tuesday to make our way to San Simeon.
